Do you feel like your life has reached its fullest capacity? Do you feel like you’ve outgrown all of your personal goals? Do you feel like you have everything in life you could possibly ask for or dream of? Do you feel like the world is against you? Or perhaps, do you feel like life has dealt you a bitter hand? Do you feel like you lost out on life, and you’re playing catch up? Maybe just feel like giving up or saying it’s too late to have a new beginning. Whatever the case may be, rich or poor, lost or found, capable or incapable of answering either question. Did you know that every human being on Earth has a PURPOSE? This book will help you understand how to unlock the hidden mystery that’s at your fingertips. Sometimes life experiences and situations can make you feel like you have nothing to live for anymore, or your past is defining your future. Some ask, “What more could I do that I haven’t already done?” One thing I’m certain about and that is: Ups and downs will come, but if you just make up in your mind, no matter what the circumstances, you must have a determined mindset and an “I’m going to make it mentality.” I believe that everybody one day will come to grips with life and realize it’s going to be a crossroads, sooner or later. Whatever or wherever this crossroads is, it will definitely meet you and every man will be made to make a turn, whether good or bad. It’s called REALITY. When you start thinking, “Is this all life has to offer me?” Have you ever thought you heard someone at your door, to find no one there, knocking or ringing the doorbell? Did you think you were losing it, after no one answered you? Have you ever felt like you missed the knock or the bell? I believe everyone has missed that class bell ringing, and felt the dread of facing your teacher, who tells you, “Report to the Principal.” Walking down that long, dreary hall seemed like the longest walk ever. Fear even begins to run down your body like a waterfall. All types of thoughts begin to pour in your well. What will my Principal say? Will I get an excuse? What will I say? Will I have to lie about why I’m late? Will I get detention, or just get a slap on my wrist and told not to do this again? We all have missed the class bell, the mark, or a deadline, and we will miss plenty of others. Just because we miss the mark, we must keep going. We’re not perfect, but just imperfect beings striving for a place of perfection and integrity. It’s called growing in grace. This is when you have begun to tap into a new realm that you were made to seek after, in preparation for looking for your Creator. I have found in my experiences came anger, grief, sorrow, heartaches, and disappointments before I began to look for something a little more gratifying. It’s a time when you look for something sound, a place of peace, a rock, a comforter, a counselor, a teacher of my soul, and someone to justify my background, even in a relationship, career, finances, family, and just life. We don’t even begin to seek until we’re in a pitiful state, when our backs are up against the wall. You feel like you’ve lost ground, been rejected by a man, persecuted for caring, abused mentally and physically. Friends turned on us at a time of need, family walk out on you, all the money is gone, leaving us to understand that we have nothing but a handful of bribes and deceit. Now you’re holding something in your hand, and now you have to figure out how to get rid of it. I call it my seeking journey. This journey is inexpensive and it’s free. You will need three main ingredients to qualify. Those three garments are genuine love, joy, and peace. These three key elements are vital in your life today. Like water and bread, you need those three things to keep the blood pumping in your veins to survive the journey. Have you ever looked around and just observed how large this entire world is, the opportunities, the resources, the paths, the languages, the bodies of people, the different perceptions of your neighbors, family, and friends? Living in a world full of talent, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding, the world is in your reach, but somehow do you feel like you just can’t reach the top shelf? Do you feel like it’s too tall and wide? So wide that you can’t get your arms wrapped around the total picture. Maybe you grew up in a critical environment, and feel like all hope is gone. Maybe you didn’t have the mentor, the positive influences to draw from, or even the mind to discern the good from the bad, and it caused you to lose out on opportunities that should have been yours from the beginning. Your new beginning has turned into a miracle and blessing, but somewhere you feel like it should have been what the world calls “Life.” You’re normal. In other words, someone’s abnormal is your normal, and normal is someone’s abnormal. I had to ponder this in my mind, and I thought, “What I’ve done in my whole life is someone’s accomplishment in a few months.” One man’s curse is another man blessing, as we’ve heard one man’s junk is another man’s treasure. In order to fully understand this book, it will address either one of the questions above. Who could help unwrap your heart, mind, and soul from all of these missed bells, opportunities, hurt, pain, agony, and distress? Who? Who can cleanse me from my past? You must open your mind and be ready to travel outside the city limits. It encompasses rural areas, trees, deer in the headlights, dark roads, sharp curves, minimum streetlights, and a vehicle to get there. Be sure to fill up, the journey will take a full tank of gas. The prices are fluctuating, but anything worth seeking and hearing is worth paying for. The Bible says in Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.” This reminds us that we are imperfect human beings, and that we’re allotted imperfections in life, because you will grow in grace. It’s not balanced thinking to be over-wise or a fool, but to learn that we strive for perfection, it’s not bought or made. You must understand, before you can even begin to walk free in life, that we were born and shaped in iniquity. It’s just how it is, and we have to be willing to accept reality in life. We have morals, values, and integrity, but there is an error to nature, and no one should think we will not make common mistakes or have faults, for no one is perfect but ONE. With all that being said, we know this eventually calls for a devout change in your life, which can only be done by the help of the Holy Spirit. Not everyone knows about the Holy Spirit, so for those that don’t: The Holy Spirit is a gift from God, equipped with lots and lots of goodies. It’s precious, it’s honest, it’s a teacher, a comforter, and it lives in you every day if you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. It brings you out of imperfections and quickens your natural body. It’s a healer, it’s a revealer, it’s a spirit that is of truth and no lie is in it. It is not a gift that can be bought, exchanged, or negotiated. A gift is something that is free, a token of appreciation, to cheer you, and to put a smile on your face. In the midst of this, it even fills every void in your life and restores all the broken pieces that have been torn away. It gives you the love that you’re running up and down in the world to find. Human beings and animals can’t fill the place that was designed for your very best friend. This is the author and the finisher of the vital elements needed for the journey. It’s what I call the “Vehicle.”
